(1)     Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28, 1967, meaning that she's recently celebrated her 32nd birthday. She's 5' 5" with brown eyes and hair. (2)     She (was) married to Daniel Salin, a musician in the band Ascot who wrote several tracks on Kari's recently released album Shiny. The album includes a cover of the Paul McCartney written Come And Get It alongside such interestingly named numbers as Your Octopus and Sunflower Man. (3)     Kicking off with modeling work and ads (Clairol for one), Kari had a stint for MTV, on which she presented game show Remote Control with Adam Sandler. (4)     Among Kari's credits are The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane, Stenphen King's Thinner, Beastmaster II (her first film), The Ivory Tower, The Crossing Guard, and the hit giant snake monster movie Anaconda. She also appeared alongside David "Friends" Schwimmer in the recent Kissing A Fool. Kari had had a recurring role in the Swamp Thing TV Series as well as Class of '96. (5)     Playing a stripper in The Crossing Guard, Kari got to meet Jack Nicholson, an experience she remembers well for the fact that she bit the actor on the nipple. (6)     After doing nude scenes in a lot of her movies, Kari has decided to tone things down a little, after some advice from her agent. "The next time I take off my clothes, Robert Deniro is going to be on the screen with me, " she says. (7)     The sci-fi world of Sliders wasn't new to Kari, who admits that in her youth she "was always interrested in UFO's, other dimensions and black holes. My father used to joke that he had been abducted by aliens, so you can see science fiction and fantasy was very much a part of my early years." (8)     Kari's next movie role is in Kate's Addiction, in which she.plays .."this lesbian who is in love with her college roommate and kind of goes psycho and kills people. I'll try anything once," she says. (9)     Kari's hobbies included pottery, helped by her (ex) husband building a pottery studio. She finds that, "It's completely therapeutic. You get out all your stress and frustration on this clay and you get to create with your hands."
