Kari's Birthday Bash
The Back Story

First my huge thanks to Michele, Stacie, Kim, Dee and everybody over at the Take No Prisoners (TNP) Site. Without their help, this never would have happened the way it did. I had read how Maurice's Fans always got together to acknowledge his birthday and other special days in his life "as a group" in sending presents, balloons, cake, the works. Until now, all the gifts I'd sent to Kari on her birthday were just from me.

Being unfamiliar with how things work over at ABC, I asked for help from TNP to make sure Kari's Birthday was celebrated "On The Set" since she'd be working that day. They graciously agreed to assist me and we even joined together and split the cost on Kari's Birthday Cake from Cake Divas.

Michele volunteered (as she has before for Maurice's Birthday) to take off from work and be "our" (TNP & KWO) coordinator for all the surprises we had planned for Kari and also to take pictures for us. Michele set up a lovely display for Kari in the green room; showcasing the cake, presents and flowers for Kari to see when she had a break from a very long day of shooting. Unfortunately most of the goodies I had sent to Kari (from her Fans At KWO) went straight to her private dressing room so we don't have many pictures of her posing with them.

However we do have photos of the cake, and of the flowers and presents that TNP had sent to Kari. I hope you enjoy seeing these pictures. Again my thanks to Michele for permitting me to display these photos and to TNP for wanting to do something extra special for Kari "on the set". If it weren't for them, I would have had to send our surprises to Kari at her home. Having the celebration take place at ABC was much more special and wouldn't have happened without their help.
