guest1931 asks "if you could have a dinner party and invite anyone from history who would you invite and why?" Kari: Tallulah Bankhead would be my guest of honor. She was one of the most outspoken partiers there was in movie history! She said, "It doesn't matter what they say about you, darling. As long as they're talking. Kari Laughs Kari: And Albert Einstein would be another one, because I get really philosophical after a couple of vodka tonics. Or scientific. Not really philosophical. But I like physics and being on a show where we deal with different dimensions I think Einstein would be a good one. johnnyquest asks "What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you on the set?" Kari: On the set? Well, I could go one better ... a couple of weeks ago I was a presenter at the Saturn awards (which are the science fiction awards) and I was presenting an award for best supporting actor and best supporting actress to both Martin Landau and Gloria Stewart. Actually it was Vincent D'Onofrio who won the award but Martin was accepting on his behalf. And they came up on stage to accept their awards, and it was a very small stage and I backed up to give them room. And I'm all decked out in this 1930's vintage gown, and I had the finger waves in my hair, I was like arrrrrrr, I was hot and I back up to give them room to accept their awards and I fell right off the stage! Kari Laughs Kari: I wasn't wearing any underwear and who knows what everybody saw but it was the most humilitating moment of my life! HSH Hosts asks "Wow! So how did you recover? Kari: "I got up went up to the microphone and went da da da da da da, boom! HSH Hosts: Great! Was everyone laughing? Kari: Well they were laughing when I fell off. They weren't laughing at my recovery. It was so humiliating. So awfull. guest1931 asks "finish the statement "people would be surprised to know....."?" Kari: People would be surpised to know.... that I recently filed for divorce! Kari laughs! Kari: Isn't that horrifying! HSHost: I guess I shouldn't ask you if you have a boyfriend or a husband. Kari: Oh, it's horrible. Really bad time but what are you going to do? guest1931 asks "what one thing would you change about yourself?" Kari: Hmmm ... one thing I would change is ... I would .... Kari sighs Kari: I would try to take care of myself first for a change, that's something I'm trying to change, rather than take care of everybody else in my life. HSHost: Seems you have a lot to take care of. Kari: I do. marge_the_palmolive_lady asks "where were you raised?" Kari: In Connecticut about an hour outside of NYC. HSHost says "Do you prefer the east or west coast?" Kari: Well right now I prefer the West Coast right now, because I have an amazing home, a great view of downtown that I'm looking at right now, and the weather's amazing and I have friends here now. Although I'd love to go back to NY; my parents don't live in CT anymore..they moved to Florida so. marge_the_palmolive_lady asks "Have you ever taken or passed up a role that you have regreted?" Kari: I've taken many that I've regretted and hopefully no one's seen those films. Kari chuckles HSHost chuckles Kari: Actually I had a choice between my role in Anaconda or An American Werewolf in Paris. And I figured three months in the Amazon is a litle more difficult to finance yourself than six weeks in Paris. So I chose Anaconda and haven't regretted it. johnnyquest asks "What's been your favorite project so far in your career?" Kari: Outside of finishing my record which I am distributing on my own over the net and in select stores across the country, something I've done on my own. Outside of that, my favorite film project has probably been The Crossing Guard with Jack Nicholson ... something that Sean Penn directed. HSHost: Let's talk about your music career ...so what kind of music, what kind of venue are you? Kari: Well if you log onto my website, there are sound bytes of a couple of my songs, it's alternative/pop/rock act ... something I'm pretty much doing on my own. HSHost: Great! Dan_K asks "How was the Amazon?" Kari: Yeah. Kari chuckles Kari: Hot. Hot ... Hot .... baby! I had a great time! I'm still actually really good friends with Owen Wilson (who's in Armegadden now), who played my boyfriend in the movie. We spent a lot of time together down there. It's really very sad cause it's disappearing very quickly. And we're very far away from it here in America and we don't realize it. But the rainforest is such a vital nucleus of life on this planet and it's going, it's disappearing. We were on the amazon river taking a boat cruise (which is how we did the whole movie on a boat) and all you saw was billowing smoke clouds coming from all over the jungle, it was really sad.
